Released in 2014 June economic data on the National Bureau of statistics, in June total generating capacity of 458 billion 100 million kwh, an increase of 5.7% compared to May, the growth rate down 0.2 percentage points.

According to statistics, the volume of thermal power generation in June was 346 billion 100 million kwh, up 6% compared with the same period, and the capacity of 87 billion 500 million kwh was 4.4% higher than that of 87 billion 500 million kwh.

In the first half of the year, the total amount of electricity generated by the whole society was 26163 billion kwh, up 5.8% over the same period last year. Of which the amount of thermal power generation accumulated 20995 billion kwh, an increase of 4.7% over the same period, and the cumulative 371 billion 300 million kwh of hydroelectric power generation, an increase of 9.7% over the same period.

In June, the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water increased by 4.7%, the added value of the mining industry increased by 7.9%, and the manufacturing industry increased by 9.8%.

According to the industry, in June, 39 industries in the 41 major industries maintained a year-on-year increase in value added. Including electricity, heat production and supply industry increased by 3.4%, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry grew 10.8%, 10.6% growth in chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing, non-metallic mineral products industry grew 8.9%, ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 6.2%, non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 12.5%.
