The power industry has achieved 47.3 tons of emission reduction in 8 years
2015-02-02

Recently, the China electric power emission reduction research 2014, jointly issued by China Electric Power Enterprise Association and the American Environmental Protection Association, showed that in 2005, the year 2006 and 2013, China's electric power enterprises accumulated 47.3 billion tons of carbon dioxide emission reduction, and the carbon emission reduction increased year by year.

According to statistics, by the end of 2013, the total installed capacity and generating capacity of the country reached 1 billion 258 million kilowatts and 537 million kwh, up 9.67% and 7.73% compared to the same period last year. Among them, the installed capacity of clean energy, such as hydropower, nuclear power, grid connected wind power and solar energy, reaches 388 million kilowatts, which accounts for about 30.81% of China's total installed capacity, and generating capacity reaches 11503 billion kilowatt hours, accounting for 21.41% of the total generating capacity. In 2013, the power consumption of the 6000 kilowatt thermal power unit in China was 321 g / kWh, which was reduced by 4 g / kWh compared with that of last year. The coal consumption of coal-fired power unit has been at the advanced level of the world.

The report indicates that in 2013, the annual emissions of electricity, dust, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides in China were 1 million 420 thousand tons, 7 million 800 thousand tons and 8 million 340 thousand tons, respectively, which were 11.25%, 15.77% and 12.21% lower than that of 2010. The capacity of flue gas desulphurization and off sale unit accounts for 90.6% and 49.4% of the national active coal and electric units.

In terms of carbon emission reduction, the power industry can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by developing non fossil energy, reducing power supply coal consumption and reducing line loss. In 2013, the reduction of carbon emissions was 11.7 million tons. In 2005, 2006-2013 years, the cumulative emission reduction of carbon dioxide is 47.3 million tons, and the reduction of carbon emissions is increasing year by year. Among them, the contribution of coal consumption to power industry is 51%, the contribution rate of developing non fossil energy is 47%, and the contribution of hydropower to the total emission reduction of electricity industry is 36%.

In the aspect of flue gas emission, the CEMS installation of most coal-fired power plants is in line with technical specifications, and basically can operate and maintain CEMS according to regulations, but there are still some problems. In the standard regulations and policies, to carry out relevant research and timely revision of the technical specifications of the existing detection, in order to adapt to the new requirements of pollution control and supervision; the current law and no fixed pollution source continuous monitoring provisions, the lack of legal basis; the CEMS applied the normative documents more problems, poor repetition and the inconsistency between. In the field of operation and management, there are many problems, such as fault of detecting instrument, inadequate level of operation and maintenance personnel, slow response of third party operation and maintenance, high pressure of maintenance funds and so on.
